“Kelly and Queenie are a dream team. It’s easy enough to say that they are expert dancers but their true talent is their unique ability to work effectively with youth. Their instincts for using dance as a way engage and inspire young people is something that cannot be taught. They focus on practical skills like team building, communication, problem-solving and self-awareness. On top of that they create really fun, safe spaces for youth to express themselves.”
I would highly recommend SOG to everyone because nothing is better than learning from people that are passionate and excited to be there. It takes one teacher who believes and encourages a student to make a difference.
I have owned my studio for 23 years, and have worked with many young teachers and Kelly and Queenie are among the best! Their amazing energy, age appropriate music choices and choreography are like a breath of fresh air. They are always prepared, flexible and positive, and their work is challenging and fun! Both of these young ladies are welcome to teach at my studio for as long as they would like to!
GROOVE: an infectious feeling of rightness in the rhythm, of being perfectly centered.
